Corruption Against Electrogists in Florida
We are forced to have our board under the Board of Medicine. This is never going to protect the electrologist to ever have their needs met, have our profession gain ground or grow in business when the one who rules us wants their interest in money met first and foremost. That proves itself in so many ways I can’t even count them. The Board of Medicine protects the doctors interest, their rules and standards. They require us to educate 50 hours for laser training, inspect our lasers every six months and pay a doctor to be on site in order to work. That limits us to a day or two a week if we are lucky enough to have enough clientele to pay all these costs. That is not counting paying for the laser, supplies and many other costs to be in business. There is no way we can compete when the nurses and docs don’t have any of these costs and can work at any time. They use the excuse of saying it is because of public safety. If that is the concern then why isn’t in place that anyone performing laser hair removal follow the same rules?
The nurses and most other professions have their own board to create their standards and rules.
We do not truly have that basic ability to perserve the basic rights to work and protection to ensure competing in the market place to make a living. We have the high costs for the privilege of nothing serves our profession in any way.
The Board of Medicine controls us and puts in place rules that make it impossible for us to compete.
A example is the nurses and PAs in Florida are not required to have a doctor on site to treat with a laser. Tey can treat seven days a week. We are lucky to afford one day a week. How can we survive just that when it comes to running a business?
They are not required to do the permanent hair removal training that we are but they are still allowed to do the work. If we started tomorrow doing their work we would be arrested in a minute. They use the excuse of public safety but, if that is the case, why aren’t all parties doing the work required to have the same training?
The only way to get justice is to have money. We don’t have the money because we have to pay a doctor to just sit in our business so we can work. Which proves just how slanted the rules are. Our competiors don’t have all of our costs so they can pump it into advertising as well as other advantages.
Truly in the very rare chance there being a problem that would need a doctor you would need the facility of a hospital for medicines and equipment to do what was needed. A medical problem plan of action is in place anyway in my laser business.
This rule of having a doctor on site makes no sense if you are clearly looking at it other than one thing only which is money for the doctor and the goal of destroying the electrologists life profession bought and pay for from the one’s holding the power strings with the law and goverment. This is another example of what is wrong with our country. How private interest can buy their own laws destroying a very needed profession with the slanted law, costs for licenses as high as the doctors and supervising costs as well to go into their pockets…
Get aboard with us and help us get justice so you can get a fair cost for permanent hair removal.
