Permanent Lip Liner Makeup Procedure

The permanent lip liner procedure takes place, as a rule, a day after the consultation with a permanent cosmetic expert. Immediately after the procedure the color will appear darker and brighter than expected, but usually fades up to 20 to 35 percent within 4 to 6 weeks. The treated area will swell and varies from person to person which is why a follow up visit is required after any permanent makeup procedure. Your lips may go through several normal color changes. Seven to ten days after the treatment the area may look as if the color has completely vanished. Two weeks to 16 days the color appears to resurface. Your lips may feel chapped for several weeks so be sure to keep them well moisturized with a lip balm recommended by your cosmetic specialist. Recovery is normally four to seven weeks after the permanent makeup has been applied. Finishing touch ups are generally performed on the follow up visit. “Permanent makeup” / “permanent cosmetics” is also known as derma pigmentation.
