Sadly Florida doesn’t have any law in place requiring serious hours of certification and training for permanent cosmetics.
My suggestion is check out the artist’s training and certification. Make sure it is not just a week at a local beauty school or some Joan Doe three day class.

Truly that is many of the population of permanent cosmetic artist education.

Look for a artist that has paid the due training, training and training.

Plus, how long has the artist been doing permanent makeup?

Not a body artist turned permanent cosmetics- without the true training in permanent makeup.

The tattoo artist that work is not heavy requested (great artist) and money tight now permanent makeup artist/instructor.
I have seen many tattoo artist that were not hot so you can image how great without true training and experience their permanent cosmetics was!

All I can say I feel sorry for the poor ladies done by these people…

If you are going to do permanent procedure on people who pay you they deserve to have someone that invests in themselves to do it right!

The business has turned into like used cars. You will be told so so many lies you hair would stand on end if you knew all the true facts.

Oh, course it is not done by the true professional because they don’t need to fill your ear full. Plus, their references, pictures, certification (with school phone number to check) are all right at their finger tips to produce. Oh, and let not forget proof of insurance.

It is important to remember permanent cosmetics is a art and only as good as the artist. I do believe one thing that truly helps me other than doing a lot of permanent makeup is I am a Medical Electrologist as well for the last 17 years. Inserting a thin needle quickly and perfectly into hair follicle all day helps your hand to eye skill big time with 10X glasses.

It is very important permanent cosmetics is pretty permanent and it breaks people’s heart if it is messed up.

Lucky there is a lot of training out there for removal.

Another important criteria is sanitation because permanent makeup is in the skin and it is not hard to get a infection.
